Tierra de Exploradores is
an entity created in 2000 by journalist Verónica
Willenberg, founder and president.
Trained at the University of Buenos Aires and the Press
Circle (of Argentina) as a specialist in Communication
Sciences and Journalism, since 1996 she has
been working as a Director of a well known Communication
and Institutional Press Agency, through which she has
nurtured a long professional career.
Some of her experiences marked her interest in spreading
Science and Exploration, including:
• the Coordination of the Institutional Communication
of The Explorers Club – Argentine Chapter,
during the presidency of Dr. Adrián Giménez
Hutton, with whom she hosted a prestigious
Dissemination Cycle at Museo
Renault, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
• the Coordination since 2000 to date of Press
and Public Relations for the Argentine Museum
of Natural Sciences (MACN)
• the organization of the Argentine Committee
participating between 2000 and 2004 in ECAD
(Explorers Club Annual Dinner) within the framework
of the annual gala of the entity at the New York Waldorf
Astoria.
• the management of professional exchange sessions
within the framework of the Communication Area of the
AMNH NY (American Museum of Natural History
of New York), and her participation in them,
in 2005.
