When plants colonized the Earth they gave life and colour. They are everywhere, in every corner of the planet they are testament to the tenacity to survive, the unstoppable force of Life. Thanks to them life on Earth was multiplied and has prospered. With the oxygen they produce all living creatures including humans can breathe. They not only give us the air but our food and the food the animal we consume, the wood in our house, the fire that cooks and keeps us warm.
But we owe the Plants something else. They cheer our soul with colour and fragrance of its flowers with deep green foliage that calms our troubled spirits. They were, have been and will inspire writers, poets, painters, sculptors, artists, photographers. They are an inseparable part of the history, culture and human civilization. As simply put without the plants we could not have been what we are. Texts: Daniel Aldo Gomez
