Landscapes (2002-2008)
The city fascinates me in its amplitudes and emptiness. The pursuit of individual space, a conglomeration such as Buenos Aires is permanent. But what happens when we are alone? We do not want to be there. To nobody or few, likes waiting for the bus or just going to the movies, alone. Few people walk the micro city's downtown on a Sunday night, alone.
We need it and at the same time we fear that solitude. In this emptiness there are other signs that the maximizing our time can not let us see. Lost or forgotten objects that reflect a state. They are mirrors of a moment. Witness our forgetfulness; witnesses of our solitude.
Felix Eduardo Busso studied photography with Eduardo Gil, Fabiana Barreda and Marcos Adandia. Since 2001 he is working with various national and international publications among which are: Travel + Leisure, Cosmopolitan, The Naciona and Lugares.
