In January 2006, Marina Curci travelled to Antarctica in the Argentine icebreaker Almirante Irizar to paint the landscape. Thus began the project "universe of open spaces" that continues today in Buenos Aires.
"Marina Curci travelled to Antarctica aboard the icebreaker Almirante Irizar in January 2006. She kept a meticulous log of all instances of the trip. She wrote, drew, photographed, and painted. In this sample we can see a selection of pictures as "the manner of a diary was made during the trip." Laura Malosetti Costa, historian.
Marina Curci studied Graphic Design at the University of Buenos Aires between 1988 and 1989. She is a National Teacher of Painting, graduated from the School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredón. Since 1990 she participates in numerous competitions and exhibitions.
