Sunrise Sunset

These are the magic hours, one hour before and one hour after sunrise and sunset. It is when it creates the most beautiful sky adorned with clouds that constantly change colour it is when silhouetted are against the sky, the imposing silhouette of the mountains, the intricate patterns of trees, the simple lines of boats and canoes. Time seems to stop and sometimes a reverent silence, almost religious fills the air. Everything is bathed in this haunting light, sky and water stain colour of dreams, and gives us moments engraved on the heart and retina forever.

Born and raised in Patagonia, Argentina, Daniel Aldo Gomez has a Degree in Biology specializing in Ecology at the University of Buenos Aires and Nature Documentary Photographer with a Master of the Newport College of Art in the UK. With his background in promoting environmental conservation through photography, he was awarded the 'Silver Pyramid' Best Wildlife Photographer of Argentina.
