Wild and free: expectant semi-submerged in muddy water, tropical, with piercing eyes peering into the dense jungle, opportunistic battleship in arid steppe, rocky-beach alive in sweep by the Patagonian winds, smart feathered look, attentive male risking in defence of their own, long wait for the fish in segments such as chandeliers, colourful scaly piece of the southern forest.
Each animal has a personality characteristic that transcends its image, each is a reflection of the environment in which they live, the result of millions of years of evolution that has shaped and perfectly adapted to its environment. Born and raised in Patagonia, Argentina, Daniel Aldo Gomez has a Degree in Biology specializing in Ecology at the University of Buenos Aires and Nature Documentary Photographer with a Master of the Newport College of Art in the UK. With his background in promoting environmental conservation through photography he was awarded the 'Silver Pyramid' Best Wildlife Photographer of Argentina.
